Liza Soberano and Bright Vachirawit Portray Heartbroken Lovers in “Long Showers” Music Video

Filipino actress Liza Soberano and Thai actor-singer Bright Vachirawit captured audiences as star-crossed lovers in the new music video for Vachirawit’s single, “Long Showers,” released on Friday, Nov. 8. The video showcases the intense, bittersweet chemistry between Soberano and Vachirawit, with dreamlike, neon-themed visuals framing their emotional journey.

“Long Showers” delves into themes of love, heartbreak, and nostalgia, as Vachirawit’s character grapples with memories of his lost relationship with Soberano. Scenes show him weeping in the rain and submerged underwater, wrestling with lingering feelings, while Soberano’s character walks away, signifying an unbridgeable distance between them.

To mark the release, Soberano posted behind-the-scenes images on Instagram, writing, “I had so much fun working on this, ‘Long Showers’ out now!” Vachirawit replied, “Thank you for your commitment, Liza. It’s really fun working with you. See you soon.”

Directed by Mamesjao, the video uses the metaphor of a refreshing yet somber shower to represent the challenge of washing away painful memories. This project marks Vachirawit’s first collaboration with the Asian-American label 88rising and follows his previous release, “Sleeping Pills.”

Vachirawit, best known for his role in the Thai Boys’ Love series 2gether, has since expanded his career with roles in films like Love You to Debt and Congrats My Ex!

Meanwhile, Soberano is pursuing her Hollywood career, debuting in the 2024 horror comedy Lisa Frankenstein and recently signing with Singapore-based management group WILD.
