Filipino-American pop star Olivia Rodrigo shared that performing in the Philippines was the standout moment of her GUTS world tour. In a playful “blind ranking” video posted by Netflix on Instagram, Rodrigo ranked her sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan as her top tour highlight, placing it above other notable experiences like her visit to the White House.
Rodrigo, who proudly celebrated her Filipino heritage onstage, received overwhelming support from local fans, known as “Livies.” During the concert, one fan even lent her a “Miss So Filipina” sash, adding a unique cultural touch to the event. Before her show, Rodrigo and her boyfriend, British actor Louis Partridge, explored Intramuros and enjoyed halo-halo, further connecting with her Filipino roots.
For fans who missed her Philippine concert, Netflix will release a GUTS World Tour concert film starting Tuesday.
