In the aftermath of Super Typhoon Kristine, Filipino celebrities like Donny Pangilinan and Sarah Geronimo have joined relief efforts to support affected communities. Donny Pangilinan visited Quezon City’s Museo ng Pag-Asa, personally delivering relief goods to the Angat Buhay office.
Sarah Geronimo and husband Matteo Guidicelli’s production company, G Studios, partnered with Angat Buhay and South Trading Post to collect food, water, hygiene kits, and other essentials for donation. Singer Arthur Nery held a donation drive at Araneta Coliseum during his concert, with all proceeds from ticket sales going to relief efforts.
Other stars, including ABS-CBN talents BINI, Nyoy Volante, Vina Morales, and KD Estrada, supported the “Tulong-Tulong Hanggang Dulo: Operation Kristine” donation drive on October 25, while “Drag Race Philippines” season two winner Captivating Katkat and GMA’s Sparkle stars Kyline Alcantara, Kate Valdez, Paul Salas, and Mikee Quintos contributed through various telethons and donation events.
Although Typhoon Kristine exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday, authorities remain vigilant as the storm could potentially return due to nearby weather disturbances.
