Maymay Entrata Featured in Grammy’s ‘It Goes to 11’ Series

Actress and performer Maymay Entrata celebrated a career milestone as she was featured in the Recording Academy’s “It Goes to 11” series. In the interview posted on Grammy’s YouTube channel, Entrata shared how in-ear monitors transformed her vocal performance, recalling her early struggles with pitch and how observing seasoned performers helped her overcome these challenges.

Entrata highlighted that it was through guidance from Gary Valenciano, one of the Philippines’ most iconic artists, that she came to understand the significance of in-ear monitors. “I realized there’s no magic shortcut—learning something you’re passionate about takes hard work, perseverance, and patience,” Entrata said.

In an Instagram post, Entrata expressed her excitement, calling the Grammy studio experience a dream come true. “My heart bai! I still couldn’t believe we made it to Grammy studio,” she wrote, adding her gratitude to the Recording Academy.

Entrata joins a growing list of Filipino artists recognized by the Grammys, including SB19, P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, who have been spotlighted in Grammy series and rising artists’ lists.
