Actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi revealed on Instagram that she was rushed back to the hospital due to an undisclosed health condition. Alawi posted a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, with an IV drip visible, noting that her body hadn’t fully recovered.
“Had to be rushed back to the hospital since my body didn’t recover well,” she shared in her post.
Just two days prior, Alawi had informed her Instagram followers that she was ready to return to work after a brief hospitalization.
In recent news, Alawi addressed speculation about entering politics, stating she has no plans to run in the 2025 midterm elections. She emphasized her lack of knowledge in politics and the importance of proper preparation if she were ever to consider such a role, saying, “I don’t want to put our country at risk.”
Despite not being involved in politics, the former Batang Quiapo actress affirmed her commitment to helping her fellow Filipinos.
