Responding to an Instagram comment, Soriano stated that rumors suggesting Wurtzbach took someone’s contacts were false and aimed at inciting hatred toward the former Miss Universe.
Soriano highlighted Wurtzbach’s established presence in the fashion world, noting her appearances at New York Fashion Week during her reign in 2015 and connections with industry figures like Imran Amed and Natalia Vodianova. He questioned why Wurtzbach would need to “steal contacts” given her extensive network.
Soriano described himself as a “Pia warrior” and said such rumors have circulated for over a year, but that they have only strengthened Wurtzbach’s relationships with brands. He dismissed the accusations, attributing them to envy and resentment, and expressed hope that those spreading negativity would avoid karmic repercussions.
Wurtzbach recently appeared at Paris Fashion Week, where she walked for L’Oreal and Michael Cinco, and was also recognized as a top influencer at Milan Fashion Week.
