Nicole Hyala and Chris Tsuper, the beloved radio duo from Love Radio’s “Tambalan,” have officially ended their 20-year partnership. Chris, whose real name is Adrian Policena, announced his departure to pursue a new career in public service. During their farewell broadcast on October 11, an emotional Nicole expressed her surprise at the sudden change, having only been informed of Chris’s decision two weeks earlier.
Chris explained that his exit was prompted by his decision to run for public office, which required him to resign due to company policies regarding candidacy filings. Nicole shared that she had envisioned celebrating their 30th anniversary as a team, and described the separation as a “painful challenge.”
Reflecting on her radio career, Nicole assured listeners that she has no intention of leaving the station, which she considers an essential part of her life. Meanwhile, Chris has filed his candidacy for a councilor position in Lucban, Quezon, marking the start of his public service journey.
