
Jennylyn Mercado has put an end to ongoing rumors about her transferring networks, affirming her commitment to GMA Network.
Staying with GMA Network
In a GMA Network report on Thursday, Jennylyn Mercado, the Philippines’ Ultimate Star, confirmed she is staying with GMA Network, where she has been for 20 years.
“I’m very thankful na hanggang ngayon e, ako po ay Kapuso pa rin,” Jennylyn stated at a beauty brand event. She clarified, “Happy pa rin ako na maging Kapuso,” and added, “sa ibang network po, wala pong offer ng ibang network.”
Addressing the Rumors
The rumors of a potential network transfer began when viewers noticed her absence from the GMA Network station ID. Jennylyn’s manager, Becky Aguila, explained that her absence was due to her unavailability on the shoot day.
Assuring fans, Aguila mentioned, “GMA extended an invitation” to Jennylyn, reaffirming, “Jennylyn is a loyal artist of GMA and will always remain loyal for as long as her mother network wants her to stay.”
Personal and Professional Updates
It’s been an eventful month for Jennylyn and her husband, Dennis Trillo. After addressing the rumors, they celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of their new family home and announced the launch of their production company, Brightburn Entertainment.
Jennylyn is also working on her comeback album and is set to star in a romantic comedy movie titled “Everything About My Wife” with Dennis. This film, their first as a married couple, is a Philippine adaptation of an Argentinian film.
