June Mar Fajardo, the powerhouse center for the San Miguel Beermen, has been named the PBA Best Player of the Conference (BPC) for the tenth time. The seven-time Most Valuable Player secured the award on Wednesday, topping stats, media votes, and player votes to amass a total of 1100 points. He outperformed his teammate CJ Perez, Terrafirma’s Stephen Holt, Robert Bolick of NLEX, and Barangay Ginebra’s Christian Standhardinger.
Stellar Performance
Fajardo showcased his dominance throughout the PBA Philippine Cup, averaging 17.35 points, 14.59 rebounds, 3.12 assists, and 1.24 blocks per game up to the semifinals.
Historic Achievements
This latest accolade adds to Fajardo’s impressive list of BPC honors, having previously won in the All-Filipino conferences of the 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2019, and 2022 seasons, as well as the 2015 Governors’ Cup and 2018 Commissioner’s Cup.
Current Series Standing
Despite Fajardo’s individual success, San Miguel is currently trailing in the best-of-seven series against the Meralco Bolts, who hold a 2-1 lead. The Beermen will look to even the series in the upcoming games.
