The unfortunate passing of Valdez was reported on a Sunday, and he was 76 years old at the time of his death. In a more concerning development, the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) announced that they were conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of Valdez’s death, which involved a gunshot wound. Major Don Don Llapitan, the chief of the QCPD Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit, reported that Valdez was found in his room with the wound, and a firearm was discovered at the scene. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Valdez was declared dead on arrival.
