Missing Aircraft Reported in Isabela

An aircraft operated by Fliteline Airways and managed by Cyclone Airways went missing in Isabela, as reported by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). The Piper PA-32-300 aircraft, carrying a pilot and one passenger, disappeared after departing from Cauayan Airport and was scheduled to arrive at Palanan Airport.

The last communication with the aircraft was around 9:50 a.m., with its last known position recorded by Flight Radar 24. Despite receiving a distress message, no emergency locator transmitter alert was issued. Search and rescue operations, involving both military and civilian groups, are underway. The CAAP has extended Cauayan Airport operations to facilitate these efforts.

This incident follows previous occurrences of missing aircraft in the Philippines, including a Cessna plane in Isabela earlier this year, which resulted in no survivors.
