Fuel Prices Expected to be Rolled Back Next Week

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. announced on Saturday that motorists can expect lower fuel prices in the coming week, January 10-16, 2023. 

Unioil said that diesel prices are expected to go down P2.40 to P2.60 per liter, while gasoline prices would go down by P0.50 to P0.60 per liter. 

The Department of Energy-Oil Industry Management Bureau also predicted that diesel would be reduced by P1.50 per liter, while gasoline’s price per liter wouldn’t go down more than P0.50.

It’s customary for oil companies to announce price adjustments every Monday to be implemented the following day.

Motorists experienced an oil price hike during the first week of January. Gasoline was up by P2.90, kerosene by P3.05, and diesel by P2.10.
