The Philippine Blu Boys secured the runner up spot in the Asian Men’s Softball Championship, guaranteeing their return to the Men’s Softball World Cup.
The team fell short against Japan for the title, but securing a spot in the Finals is already enough for them to head to the World Cup for the second time.
Philippine Blu Boys, led by Coach Apol Rosales, will play in the World Cup this November 26 to December 4 in Auckland, New Zealand. They will try to redeem themselves from their last place finish three years ago.
This last tournament was the team’s first competition since losing the gold to Singapore last 2019.
