John Lloyd Cruz commended and expressed appreciation for Derek Ramsay’s parenting to his son Elias.
During the birthday party of director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, Cruz shared with Ogie Diaz his co-parenting arrangement with Elias’ mom Ellen Adarna, and her husband Derek Ramsay.
Diaz prompted the conversation by telling Cruz how nice it is that he and Adarna get along with the child. Cruz shared that whenever he wants to bond with his child, Adarna gives him the liberty to do so. He also said that it’s fortunate how Ramsay, who’s a father himself, understands Cruz.
Diaz also directly quoted Cruz’s appreciation for Ramsay, “Ang ganda rin ng ginagawa ni Derek para sa anak ko. Four years old pa lang siya pero parang matured na.”
Cruz and his son were both present at the party and Diaz said that they shared a close bond.
