Korean group MayTree has been making waves online for their impressive acapella medleys of different shows and themes featuring musical scores from Harry Potter, Stranger Things, Encanto to sound effects from games and apps like Candy Crush, Plants vs. Zombies, and Among Us.
The five-member group was founded in the year 2000, and their official YouTube account has garnered 4.99M subscribers with a total of more than 900 million views as of writing.
The group has also been making a mark on mainstream media after their successful audition on America’s Got Talent Season 17 last month where they earned all the judges’ approval to move to the next round of the competition.
Recently, they have uploaded a medley of soundtracks from the Kdrama ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’, which has earned the top spot in Netflix’s non-english series.
MayTree had also previously gone viral for their medley of the ‘Squid Game’ soundtrack, which has raked in 250 million views on YouTube to date.
