Mayor Sotto said that this batch of regularization will benefit 1,097 contractual workers. The regularization will be effective on January 2022. The first batch of regularization was able to benefit around contractual government employees who have served for more than 15-20 years.
In the latest tally, around 304 workers have been contractual workers for more than 20 years. Additionally, 556 contractual employees have worked for Pasig City for 15 to 20 years. “As of today the total is up to 1,957 employees regularized. We started with those with more than 20 years in service. Effective January, practically all employees who have been with the city government for at least 10 years will officially be regular/permanent employees.”Mayor vico sotto twitter
