Lotlot de Leon Enraged by Ian de Leon’s Interview: ‘Enough with the Lies’

MANILA, Philippines — Long-standing family tensions have erupted into the public eye following a sharp conflict over a legendary entertainment legacy. Veteran actress Lotlot de Leon turned deeply emotional as she openly condemned her brother, Ian de Leon, accusing him of broadcasting fabrications on national television regarding the estate and legacy of their late mother—the legendary Superstar and National Artist Nora Aunor.

Breaking her silence during a story conference for her upcoming mystery-drama film 40 Days, Lotlot fiercely rejected Ian’s claims, stating that she and her other siblings are not chasing an inheritance.

The public fallout was triggered by Ian de Leon’s recent guest appearance on GMA’s talk show Fast Talk with Boy Abunda. During the broadcast, Ian claimed he had fully briefed his siblings regarding his legal steps to manage their mother’s brand, a narrative Lotlot immediately tore down:

 • **The Shared Concept:** Ian stated that 40 days after Aunor's • **Total Exclusion:** *“Hindi ko alam bakit kasinungalingan

“Enough! Enough with the lies!” an emotional Lotlot stated, addressing Ian directly through reporters. “Tahimik ako, tahimik si Matet, si Kiko at si Ken. Wala na kaming sinasabi, and then you go out on a TV show and tell everyone na sinabi mo sa amin, which is not true.”

Lotlot revealed that the initial effort to structurally organize their mother’s posthumous assets actually originated from her side, but was flatly declined by Ian due to financial anxieties:

[ THE STRUCTURAL FAMILY STANDOFF ]
[ The Foundation Pitch ]──► Lotlot recalled approaching Ian shortly after their mother's passing to propose building
a charitable foundation in Nora Aunor's honor to preserve her memory.
[ The Financial Refusal ]──► According to Lotlot, Ian directly rejected the joint venture, stating explicitly that
he was *"not ready"* and had no liquid funds to contribute to the startup pool.
[ The Paper Trail ] ──► *“Sabi niya wala siya ilalabas na pera. Di niya pa kaya ngayon. Nasa text yan, may kopya ako.
Nirespeto ko yan,”* Lotlot clarified, proving she holds digital logs of the exchange.

Before unleashing her emotional statement, Lotlot profusely apologized to film director Louie Ignacio and her high-profile co-stars—including industry icons Dina Bonnevie, Snooky Serna, Elizabeth Oropesa, and Lloyd Samartino—for momentarily derailing their film’s promotional launch event to address her private family trauma.

Tearing up in front of the press pool, Lotlot expressed deep heartbreak over how the relationship has deteriorated, recalling how she spent her early years looking after Ian as his eldest sister, per their late mother’s strict wishes. While the legalities of Ian’s newly formed One-Person Corporation remain separate, Lotlot made it clear that the family’s internal fracture is far from healed, cementing a highly public divide over how the Philippines’ most iconic Hollywood-equivalent legacy will be governed moving forward.
