UPCAT 2026 Results Released: Access and Time Slots

MANILA, Philippines — The results of the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for the incoming freshmen of School Year 2026-2027 were officially released on the morning of Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

The university has encouraged all applicants to check the official results portal. To manage high web traffic and prevent server crashes, the UP System has traditionally implemented a staggered viewing schedule based on the first letter of the applicant’s surname.

Applicants can access their individual results by logging into the official portal using the credentials (email and password) used during the application process.

While the university urges students to follow their specific windows, the portal typically opens for all surnames by the evening. Based on previous cycles, the schedule is as follows:

  1. Reply to Offer: Successful applicants who are offered a slot in their chosen campus must confirm or reply to the offer by the specified deadline (typically late May) to secure their enrollment.
  2. Waitlisted & Non-Qualifiers: Students who did not make the initial cut for their first-choice campus may still be eligible for “Appeal” or “Waitlist” status depending on the specific campus and degree program requirements.
  3. Degree Program Requirements: Some specialized courses may require additional interviews or talent tests even after passing the UPCAT.

In the previous year (2025), a total of 17,996 out of 135,236 applicants qualified for admission, marking a 6.74% increase in the number of passers compared to the year prior. Competition remains high as the university continues to expand its financial aid programs in partnership with institutions like Landbank to support the incoming batch of 2026.
