PAGASA Warns of Hot Weather Across Philippines on Wednesday

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that hot and humid weather is expected across many parts of the country on Wednesday, March 25, as the dry season continues to intensify.

According to the state weather bureau, temperatures and heat index levels may rise in several areas, prompting authorities to remind the public to take precautions against prolonged exposure to the heat. PAGASA said the combination of warm temperatures and humidity could make conditions feel even hotter throughout the day.

Weather conditions in Metro Manila and other parts of the country are expected to remain generally fair, although isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may still occur in some areas due to localized weather patterns.

The agency urged residents to stay hydrated, avoid outdoor activities during the hottest hours of the day, and take protective measures such as wearing light clothing and using sun protection. Health officials also warned that extreme heat can increase the risk of heat exhaustion or heat stroke.

PAGASA earlier noted that the transition to the dry season is already underway, bringing warmer temperatures across the Philippines as easterly winds dominate the country’s weather pattern.

Authorities advised the public to monitor regular weather updates and remain cautious as high heat index levels may persist in the coming days.
