CAINTA, Rizal — Nathan Matt Barredo started the 10th GMTBC-XTIN ATOMAC Open Championships with a bang, rolling a perfect “300” game on Saturday, March 1, 2026, at the Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Bowling Center.
- The Feat: The 23-year-old two-handed bowler achieved the perfect score on lanes 23-24 during the qualifying rounds for the Open Masters division.
- The Gear: Barredo utilized a 14-lb Roto Grip Hustle BRY to secure the flawless 12-strike performance.
- Milestone: This marks the third perfect game of Barredo’s career. His previous 300s were recorded in October 2025 (at Playdium Bowling Center) and November 2025 (at E-Lanes).
Hailing from Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Barredo is currently a fifth-year student at De La Salle University-Manila. Representing the Datbi-Nobleland team, he is no stranger to the winner’s circle, having ruled the Masters division at the 57th MTBA Mixed Open in May 2025.
Barredo credited his success to his dedicated coaching staff, including Dr. Romy Tabayoyong, Norman Gonzales, and Dennis Kelsey. The ATOMAC Open is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF) and remains one of the key local tournaments for the sport in the country.
