Mitsubishi and Intellicare Form Strategic Health-Care Partnership

MANILA, Philippines — Leading health maintenance organization (HMO) Intellicare Group has officially entered into a partnership with Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation to provide advanced health-care solutions for Japanese companies operating in the Philippines.

Key Partnership Goals:

  • Customized Coverage: The collaboration will offer comprehensive HMO coverage, third-party administration, and clinic-based services specifically tailored to the needs of Japanese firms and their local employees.
  • Data-Driven Management: Mitsubishi will contribute its global expertise in hospital management systems, medical supply chain solutions, and medical cost analytics. This will help build a data-driven platform to better control medical costs and integrate health services.
  • Expanded Access: The partnership aims to streamline care delivery and improve accessibility to medical services across the country.

  • Investment History: This agreement stems from Mitsubishi’s August 2025 investment in Fullerton Health, the parent company of the Intellicare Group.
  • Market Position: With this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Intellicare and its affiliate, Avega Managed Care Inc., become the only HMOs in the Philippines currently partnered with the Japanese multinational conglomerate.
