
PASAY CITY, Philippines — Asia Rose Simpson, representing Quezon City, was crowned Miss World Philippines 2026 during a star-studded coronation night at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday evening, February 3, 2026.
Simpson, one of the youngest contestants in the competition at just 17 years old, succeeded Krishnah Gravidez, whose year-and-a-half reign concluded with the passing of the “Pearl of the Orient” crown.
A Rising Star Despite her youth, Simpson brought significant pageant experience to the stage.
- Pageant History: Before winning the Miss World Philippines-Quezon City title, she represented New Mexico in the Miss Teen USA 2023 pageant, where she was honored with the Miss Congeniality award.
- The Competition: She bested 23 other aspirants from across the Philippines and overseas Filipino communities to win the top title.

International Aspirations Simpson was crowned by outgoing queen Krishnah Gravidez and the reigning Miss World Opal Suchata Chuangsri. She will carry the Philippine flag in the next edition of the Miss World international pageant later this year.
