Clark Water Strengthens Community Health with New School Water System

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE – Clark Water Corporation, the water and wastewater service provider for the Clark Freeport Zone and Special Economic Zone, has inaugurated a new water supply system at Sitio Monicayo Elementary School in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, on December 26, 2025. The project—part of Clark Water’s ongoing corporate social responsibility initiatives—provides clean, potable water directly to the school, benefiting over 500 students and teachers who previously relied on limited or contaminated sources.

The system includes deep-well pumping, filtration, and storage facilities, ensuring reliable access for drinking, sanitation, and daily needs. Clark Water President Patrick Henry R. Go emphasized the impact: “Safe water is foundational for health and learning—this facility addresses a critical need in the community while promoting hygiene and preventing waterborne diseases.”

The handover ceremony featured local officials, DepEd representatives, and excited students who participated in the symbolic first draw. The project aligns with Clark Water’s broader “Water for Life” program, which has delivered similar systems to several barangays and schools in the region since 2024.

For Monicayo Elementary—a school serving indigenous Aeta communities and nearby barangays—this upgrade isn’t just infrastructure—it’s a step toward healthier, more focused education, especially vital in rural areas with historical water access challenges.
