QUEZON CITY – A 30-year-old woman set to marry on December 14, 2025, has gone missing since December 10, plunging her fiancé and family into anguish as the planned wedding was called off. Sherra De Juan (also known as Sarah De Juan), from North Fairview, was last heard from when she messaged her fiancé, Mark Arjay Reyes, an IT engineer, saying she was heading to a mall in North Fairview to buy wedding shoes after her gown arrived. She mentioned leaving her phone at home to charge.
Reyes, distraught, shared the ordeal in viral Facebook posts that garnered widespread attention, prompting a police report at Quezon City Police Station 5. “We were supposed to get married today, but she’s nowhere to be found,” Reyes said in interviews, appealing for information on her whereabouts.
Authorities have submitted Sherra’s phone for technical examination in hopes of tracing leads. The family described her as reliable and excited for the wedding, ruling out cold feet but expressing fears for her safety amid the city’s bustling holiday season.
Quezon City Police District Director Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan confirmed an active search: “We’re coordinating with malls, reviewing CCTV, and following all tips.” No ransom demands or foul play indications have surfaced, but the case highlights risks for women navigating urban areas alone.
As the search continues, Reyes and Sherra’s loved ones cling to hope: “Please come home—we just want you safe.” Anyone with information is urged to contact QCPD Station 5 or hotline 0917-853-8428.
