The Western Mindanao Naval Command conducted a five-day maritime operation in the Sulu Sea and intercepted a motorboat carrying undocumented cigarettes valued at ₱174 million. The seizure is part of the Navy’s ongoing crackdown on smuggling in the region.
The vessel and its cargo were secured and handed over to the Bureau of Customs for further investigation and proper disposition.
