Families of EJK Victims Accuse Duterte of Delaying Justice

Relatives of those killed in alleged extrajudicial killings (EJKs) during the Duterte administration are condemning the former president’s legal team for employing “delay tactics” to stall accountability.

They say these maneuvers undermine their efforts to seek justice at the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing Duterte’s camp of trying to run out the clock while survivors and grieving families continue to wait for closure.

The families are pressing for not only Duterte’s arrest but also a thorough reckoning for the lives lost during the anti-drug campaign, emphasizing the need for swift and meaningful legal action.
