In the 2025 edition of the readers’ choice awards by luxury travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler (CNT), the Philippines proved once again that its island destinations rank among Asia’s finest. Three of its most beloved islands—Boracay, Palawan and Siargao—all secured spots in the top 10 list of islands in Asia.
Boracay soared to 4th place, earning a remarkable score of 90.54. Palawan followed closely at 5th place with a score of 90.23, even surpassing Indonesia’s famed Bali. Siargao came in at 7th place with a solid 85.49 score
The rankings reflect votes submitted by CNT’s readers in the United Kingdom between April 1 and June 30, 2025.
While Boracay remains a star for its powder-white sands and buzzing seaside nightlife, Palawan continues to dazzle with its dramatic cliffs, coral-rich reefs and secluded beaches. Siargao, known as the surfing capital of the Philippines, grabbed notice for its powerful waves and laid-back island vibe.
These results underscore the strong appeal of the Philippines’ island destinations, highlighting their ability to attract both relaxation-seekers and adventure-lovers alike.
