Interment Services in QC Public Cemeteries Paused from October 30 to November 2

The city government of Quezon City has announced that interment services at its public cemeteries and columbarium will be temporarily suspended from October 30 to November 2, 2025.

During this period, families will not be able to carry out burials or inurnments at the city-run burial grounds. The suspension affects operations specifically in public cemeteries and the columbarium managed by the city government.

The move comes ahead of the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Day “Undas” observance, when large numbers of people typically visit their departed loved ones in the cemetery. By pausing interment services during this peak visitation period, the city aims to better manage crowds and maintain burial-ground operations.

Normal interment services are expected to resume once the suspension ends on November 2. Families are advised to plan accordingly and coordinate with the cemetery offices beforehand.
