Authorities in Taguig City have arrested two individuals accused of conducting facial injection procedures without the proper medical license.
According to the Southern Police District (SPD), the suspects were caught in an operation by local authorities after reports surfaced about unlicensed cosmetic services being offered in the area. The duo was allegedly performing beauty enhancement injections in a residential or commercial setup without any medical authorization.
During the operation, police confiscated syringes, vials, and other medical paraphernalia believed to be used in their cosmetic procedures. The suspects are now facing charges for violating the Medical Act of 1959, which prohibits individuals from practicing medicine without a valid license.
Authorities continue to remind the public to seek services only from certified medical professionals and licensed clinics to avoid health risks associated with unregulated cosmetic treatments.
