Actress Sunshine Cruz has publicly denied online rumors claiming she and businessman Atong Ang have ended their relationship or that she experienced physical abuse.
In a Facebook post on June 30, Cruz called out multiple fake headlines circulating online, some of which falsely quoted her in fabricated interviews alleging abuse. She emphasized the importance of verifying sources before sharing news, especially those from questionable websites. “Be vigilant, family and friends,” she advised, also sharing a checklist for spotting credible information.
Speculation about Cruz and Ang’s relationship began in 2024 when they were seen together at a public event. This was followed by a viral video of the two kissing at a cockpit arena, and a few days later, Ang reportedly confirmed the relationship in a Bilyonaryo News Channel interview.
Though Cruz has remained quiet about their status, she subtly acknowledged the relationship with a cozy photo posted to her Instagram in March.
