ABU DHABI — The United Arab Emirates has sharply condemned Iran’s missile strike on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, branding it a blatant violation of Qatari sovereignty and regional stability.
In a statement issued Monday via state news agency WAM, the UAE Foreign Ministry denounced the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s attack on the base, which houses the largest U.S. military facility in the region.
“The UAE condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian Revolutionary Guard’s targeting of Al Udeid Air Base in the sisterly State of Qatar,” the statement read, labeling it a “flagrant violation” of Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace.
The attack is part of a broader conflict following days of escalating military action between Iran, Israel, and the United States.
