BINI Shines on Fox 5’s ‘Good Morning New York’ in First U.S. Morning Show Appearance

BINI just took another major step on their global journey—making their debut on U.S. morning television!

The P-pop sensation appeared on Fox 5’s “Good Morning New York,” where they shared their excitement about performing at The Theater at Madison Square Garden, the New York City leg of their world tour.

“Just hearing those words, it felt surreal,” said Jhoanna, reflecting on the experience. “We always felt our fans’ love online, but meeting them in person was something else. We’re so thankful.”

Aside from the show, the group also joined the vibrant Filipino parade in NYC. “We had so much fun and saw so many Filipinos come together,” Mikha shared. “It was touching to see such unity. I’m incredibly proud to be Pinoy.”

The hosts also inquired about the group’s name. Jhoanna explained that “BINI” stems from “binibini,” symbolizing the modern Filipina. “We aim to represent her,” she said.

Leader Aiah added, “We’re passionate about bringing Filipino music to the global stage.” She also noted their excitement and nerves for their first world tour. “It’s a bit scary, but we’re hopeful to connect with Blooms (our fans) everywhere.”

To cap off their guesting, BINI performed their latest single, “Blink Twice.”

The group’s tour continues with stops in Washington, DC on June 3 and Illinois on June 6. Their EP “BINIVerse,” released in February, features tracks like “Cherry on Top,” “Blink Twice,” and “Zero Pressure.” A new single, “Shagidi,” is set for release on June 5.
