MANILA — Actress and celebrity mom Sofia Andres unintentionally turned her Instagram into a job board after she joked about needing a personal assistant who could “read her mind.”
In a playful Instagram Story, Andres said she was looking for someone who could “organize my chaos and remind me where I left my coffee (and my schedule),” adding that the ideal applicant should be “10 steps ahead, stylishly sharp, and allergic to ‘I forgot.’”
The tongue-in-cheek post quickly went viral, prompting a wave of hilarious—and serious—applications from fans and netizens alike. Andres later clarified in a follow-up post, written in Cebuano, that the job ad was meant to be a joke:
“Makalagot uy! Walay sense of humor… Chill ra!”
(“It’s annoying! No sense of humor. Just chill!”)
She also acknowledged her “mom brain” moments as a reason behind the post, saying she often forgets things.
Despite the misunderstanding, Andres embraced the fun, sharing some of the witty application emails she received. Subject lines included:
