Sharon Cuneta and Senator-elect Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan recently flew to New York to celebrate a major milestone: the graduation of their daughter, Frankie Pangilinan.
Cuneta shared heartfelt moments from the event on Instagram on May 18, playfully noting how far they were seated during the ceremony. “We were so far from Kakie during her graduation. But there she was,” she captioned one of the photos.
Adding a touching surprise to the day, Frankie was reunited with her longtime yaya, Irish, who was brought to New York as a special gift for the occasion. Cuneta shared that Irish had helped raise Frankie and remains very close to her.
Before the graduation, Cuneta also posted a photo of a bouquet of tulips from Kiko, reminiscing that tulips were part of her wedding bouquet 29 years ago. She praised her husband’s thoughtful gesture, saying, “You always make me feel so loved and precious.”
Despite being among the top vote-getters in the May 12 senatorial race with over 15 million votes, Pangilinan skipped his proclamation ceremony to prioritize his daughter’s big day.
