US Reportedly Weighing Plan to Relocate 1 Million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya

The Trump administration is reportedly developing a controversial plan to relocate up to one million Palestinians from Gaza to Libya, according to an NBC News report on Friday.

Citing five sources familiar with the matter — including two with direct knowledge and a former U.S. official — NBC reported that the proposal is being seriously considered and has already been discussed with Libyan leaders.

In exchange for accepting the Palestinians, the U.S. would release billions of dollars in frozen Libyan assets, which have been locked for over a decade, according to the report.

This dramatic move comes amid growing international concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where food shortages and ongoing conflict have left hundreds of thousands of civilians in urgent need of assistance.

As of now, the White House has not officially commented on the report.
