
Joaquin Domagoso, actor and son of former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, emerged as the top councilor in Manila City’s 1st District, according to unofficial results from the Commission on Elections.
The Sparkle talent received a leading 92,965 votes, ranking first among 26 councilor candidates.
In other Manila districts, Lou Veloso, a seasoned actor and politician, led the 6th District with 56,703 votes. Former PBA player Bong Alvarez ranked 9th in the 3rd District with 25,334 votes, while vlogger and former government official Mocha Uson followed closely at 10th with 24,792 votes.
Meanwhile, actor Wendell Ramos, running in the 4th District, placed 21st with 4,071 votes.
