Actress Kyline Alcantara has chosen not to engage in the controversy surrounding her breakup with basketball player Kobe Paras, following accusations made by Paras’ mother, former actress Jackie Forster.
In a statement released by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on April 29, Alcantara expressed her desire to move on without further comment. “Kyline would like to move on with this issue. She has chosen to keep her peace and maintain the respect for the people who have been part of her life,” the statement read.
While Alcantara did not directly address the allegations, she recently marked a milestone on Instagram, celebrating 4.9 million followers with a glam video soundtracked by Charli XCX’s “party 4 u.”
Breakup rumors began earlier this month after fans noticed that Alcantara and Paras had unfollowed each other and deleted couple photos on social media. The two confirmed their relationship in November 2024.
Forster added fuel to the speculation when she posted a cryptic message about manipulation, later claiming that Alcantara had mistreated her son—accusing her of emotional manipulation and even physical assault. Forster also criticized Alcantara’s family dynamics, alleging they negatively affected Kobe.
However, Alcantara’s brother and friends who lived with the couple defended the actress, denying any abusive behavior. Paras has yet to respond publicly
