Vice President Sara Duterte has thrown her support behind singer-lawyer Jimmy Bondoc in a new campaign ad ahead of Eleksyon 2025.
In a 25-second promotional video shared on Bondoc’s Facebook page, Duterte praised Bondoc for his integrity and patriotism, cleverly referencing his popular OPM hit Let Me Be the One.
“Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, may hustisya sa kanyang tinig. Sa bayan ay tapat na umiibig. Let him be the one to protect the people,” Duterte said, adding, “With Atty. Jimmy Bondoc, your comfort is music to the ears.”
Bondoc responded with gratitude for the endorsement.
He is among the ten candidates supported by PDP-Laban, the political party chaired by Duterte’s father, former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Bondoc, known for his dual career in music and law, enters the political spotlight with a platform emphasizing justice and public service.
