MANILA, PHILIPPINES – David Licauco has set the record straight on speculations linking him to the breakup of celebrity couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto, firmly stating, “Wala akong kinalaman.”
In an interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” aired April 16, Licauco addressed questions about his rumored involvement in the former couple’s split earlier this year. The actor, who shares strong onscreen chemistry with Forteza, emphasized that he was not in touch with her during her relationship with Roberto.
“One thing is for sure, I’m not part of their breakup. Barbie and I didn’t even text before, especially while she was still with Jak,” he clarified.
Barbie Forteza previously confirmed that she and Jak Roberto ended their relationship in January. Around the same time, Licauco, known for his role in “Samahan ng mga Makasalanan,” was revealed to be single—sparking curiosity among fans.
During the “Fast Talk” segment, when asked if a relationship with Barbie could be in the cards, David responded, “Depende.” He added, “Who knows? Whatever happens, happens. I’m just going with the flow.”
