Actor Buboy Villar recently addressed rumors about his past relationship with ex-partner Angillyn Gorens during an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Buboy admitted that while he was still in a relationship with Angillyn, he occasionally chatted with other girls—but insisted that it never went beyond that. “I’m not perfect,” he said candidly. “Yes, I had chats, but I never took it further. I always stopped myself, thinking, ‘I don’t want to mess things up with Angillyn.’”
When asked whether he considers this emotional infidelity, Buboy said he wasn’t sure. However, he added, “Maybe that is still a form of cheating. And for that, I sincerely ask for forgiveness.”
Tito Boy directly asked Buboy if he had ever been in another relationship while still with Angillyn. “No,” he replied firmly. As for any sexual relations, he said, “Never.” He credited his self-restraint to divine guidance: “God always gives me clarity—that if I make a wrong move, something bad might happen in return.”
Buboy’s comments came after Angillyn accused him of cheating and abuse following his revelation on the Your Honor podcast that he now has a child with non-showbiz partner Khrizza Sampiano, who later posted a family photo with Buboy and their baby.
Buboy denied all allegations of physical abuse and said he has fulfilled his obligations for child support. The former couple started living together in 2016 and have two children, Vlanz Karollyn and George Michael. They ended their relationship in 2020 and continue to co-parent.
