
QUEZON CITY – A tragic fire broke out early Thursday morning in a rental house in Barangay San Isidro, leaving eight people dead, including three minors aged 2, 12, and 15, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
The fire, which started around 2:02 a.m., quickly spread through the three-story building. Some residents managed to escape by climbing onto rooftops, while others were trapped inside. Firefighters declared the blaze under control by 2:48 a.m.

✅ 24 fire trucks and 3 ambulances were deployed
✅ Two victims were found near the staircase
✅ One person sustained injuries
The estimated damage is around P3.6 million, and authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire and the number of affected residents.
