Manila, Philippines – Juan Karlos is beaming with pride as his girlfriend, Dia Mate, brings home the Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 crown.
The “Buwan” hitmaker took to Instagram Stories to share his excitement, reposting Dia’s photo in her stunning golden evening gown with the caption, “Congratulations baby!”
In a heartfelt Instagram post, JK acknowledged Dia’s hard work and dedication throughout her pageant journey.
“It fills my heart with warmth and joy to witness your growth and see how far you’ve come,” he wrote. “You deserve all the good things life has to offer because you never gave up!”
He also praised Dia for representing the Philippines with grace and elegance, adding, “To my sweet, kind, loving, and beautiful soul—inside and out—my baby girl, my baba, my queen: I love you more than words can express. Te amo mucho, mi amor.”
The couple went public with their relationship in February 2024. Earlier this month, Dia called Juan Karlos her “greatest love” on his birthday.
Meanwhile, Winwyn Marquez, the first Filipina Reina Hispanoamericana titleholder (2017), had nothing but confidence in Dia’s victory. She advised her to “have fun” and not feel intimidated by the Latina contestants.
