Judy Ann Santos couldn’t contain her excitement after participating in a cooking demonstration led by award-winning chef Gordon Ramsay during his visit to the Philippines.
Fresh off completing a professional culinary course with two gold medals, Santos expressed her joy on Instagram on January 20, describing the experience as “surreal.”
“How do I even begin to describe my day? Crazy? Mind-blowing? Unreal!” Santos wrote. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen in my lifetime.”
Cooking Challenge with Ramsay
Santos recounted a thrilling 10-minute challenge to create a traditional Filipino halo-halo. “It was just a simple halo-halo that we had to finish building in 10 minutes, but those were the fastest, most nerve-wracking 10 minutes of my life! But it was the best!” she shared.
She thanked her husband, Ryan Agoncillo, and their youngest child, Luna, for their support and presence during the event, expressing gratitude for the opportunity.
Ramsay’s Philippine Visit
Chef Gordon Ramsay is in the country to visit his restaurant in Pasay City, engage with local chefs and food enthusiasts, and oversee plans for opening additional restaurants in the Philippines.
Content creators Abi Marquez and Ninong Ry also participated in the cooking demonstration, making the event even more special for attendees.
