Actress Rufa Mae Quinto remains silent on rumors of marital troubles with her husband, Trevor Magallanes, as her legal counsel, Atty. Mary Louise Reyes, added intrigue with a cryptic comment.
Circulating Rumors
Speculation about the couple’s relationship surfaced after alleged screenshots of private conversations between Quinto and Magallanes were shared online. In the screenshots, Quinto reportedly pleaded with Magallanes to delete a negative post and to support their daughter, Athena. The alleged messages also showed Magallanes accusing Quinto of manipulating Athena against him.
TV host Boy Abunda discussed the issue on his program Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, saying he planned to contact Atty. Reyes to verify the screenshots. He also mentioned a purported Hawaii police report involving Magallanes that had surfaced on social media.
Lawyer’s Response
Atty. Reyes posted a snippet of Abunda’s show on her Instagram Stories, captioned with a cryptic remark:
“Yaan mo na, Tito Boy. Lugi naman ang paninda n’yan. ‘Di bumenta. Charot.”
While lighthearted, the comment left fans speculating about its meaning and whether it signified a forthcoming legal response.
Marital Status and Legal Troubles
Quinto and Magallanes married in 2016 and share a daughter, Athena, born in 2017. The actress currently resides in the Philippines, while Magallanes is based in the United States.
Adding to her challenges, Quinto recently confirmed facing an arrest warrant for securities violations related to her endorsement of the controversial dermatological company Dermacare. She assured fans of her cooperation with authorities, a move praised for demonstrating accountability.
As of now, neither Quinto nor her lawyer has released an official statement regarding the rumored marital issues.
