Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards’ sequel film, Hello, Love, Again, has shattered records to become the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, earning over ₱930 million in worldwide sales just 10 days after its release.
A Historic Milestone
The announcement was made by Star Cinema and GMA Pictures through a heartfelt message on Instagram.
“‘Hello, Love, Again’ is now the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time in just 10 DAYS! Maraming salamat to all of you who gave your love and support for our film,” the statement read.
The film surpassed the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival’s top earner Rewind, which grossed ₱924 million, and even dethroned its predecessor, Hello, Love, Goodbye, which previously held the record with ₱880 million in global earnings.
Record-Breaking Start
Released on November 13, Hello, Love, Again set a new benchmark with the highest opening-day gross for a local film at ₱85 million. It also earned over $2 million on its first day in North American cinemas.
Global Acclaim
The film, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, premiered internationally as the closing film of the 2024 Asian World Film Festival in California, where Kathryn Bernardo received the Snow Leopard Rising Star Award for her outstanding contributions to Asian cinema.
Expressions of Gratitude
Alden Richards shared his gratitude in an Instagram post, writing, “Thank you for making this happen. We are truly grateful beyond words. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat. To GOD be the glory.”
Hello, Love, Again continues to play in over 1,100 cinemas worldwide, celebrating the growing influence of Filipino films on the global stage.
