Kris Aquino recently opened up about her ongoing health challenges, revealing she is now in isolation due to a significant drop in her immune system’s defenses. Aquino shared an update on Instagram, explaining that her white blood cell count has fallen and that she suffered an allergic reaction to the last antibiotic she could tolerate. As a result, she has limited her contact with family and friends to prevent potential infections, saying, “It’s lonely.”
Aquino, who is currently managing six autoimmune conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, has been relying on a peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) line for medication. She expressed her appreciation to the Makati Medical Center staff and emphasized her ongoing commitment to remain strong, saying she doesn’t want to let down those who continue to support and pray for her.
Despite her struggles, Aquino remains hopeful, even as she continues to cope with symptoms like migraines, body-wide pain, and high blood pressure. Known as the “Queen of All Media,” she is expected to return to the spotlight with a new show before year-end.
