Actress and singer Maymay Entrata made a bold statement about self-love at the Opulence Ball on October 31, where she appeared in a wedding gown-inspired dress designed by Neric Beltran. Adorned with white pigeons, Entrata’s look symbolized her journey toward prioritizing herself, declaring she’s “married to herself” this year.
Entrata, who is currently single, shared that it took time to fully understand the importance of self-love, especially after giving so much of herself in past relationships. “When you love, you get empty, right? That’s when I realized that you have to love yourself first before loving someone else,” she said. Entrata added that her journey began after being baptized last April, crediting her faith for helping her along the way.
The Pinoy Big Brother alum also expressed her gratitude for a recent invitation to the Recording Academy’s “It Goes to 11” event. “As I was entering its headquarters, I felt like crying,” Entrata recalled. “It’s rare to have this kind of opportunity, so why not take advantage of it?” Entrata joins a growing list of Filipino artists featured by the Recording Academy, which recently highlighted Filipino acts such as SB19 and BINI.
Entrata continues to make strides in her career, including her debut appearance at Paris Fashion Week this September, where she walked in Vietnamese designer Phan Huy’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
