It’s official—beloved 90s love team Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin are back together in a new movie, Ex Ex Lovers! Project 8 Projects shared the exciting news on Thursday with a video of Jolina and Marvin embracing, followed by throwbacks to their past films.
Directed by JP Habac and co-produced with Cornerstone Entertainment, Ex Ex Lovers will also feature rising stars Juan Karlos and Loisa Andalio. Marvin marked the occasion with a nostalgic Instagram post, sharing clips of him and Jolina alongside scenes from their iconic 90s movies, captioned, “Mga batang 90s! After 25 years!”
The pair’s reunion was first hinted at in June, when they posed with acclaimed filmmakers Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas, the co-founders of Project 8 Projects. Jolina and Marvin captured hearts with popular films like Flames: The Movie, Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang?, and Hey Babe!
