
Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee had nothing but praise for CJ Opiaza, who is representing the Philippines in the Miss Grand International 2024 competition. Dee lauded CJ’s powerful performance during the preliminary swimsuit round, saying, “CJ killed it,” on her Instagram broadcast channel.
CJ impressed the audience and judges with her fierce presentation, showcasing a confident hair flip, flawless turns, and a striking “smize.” Her outstanding display earned her a spot among the Top 20 Best in Swimsuit.
CJ, hailing from Zambales, is competing for the Philippines’ first-ever Miss Grand International crown. She also gained attention in earlier rounds, notably for her captivating “Fly Me to the Moon” performance during the Miss Grand Voice contest, which impressed pageant president Nawat Itsaragrisil.
In the national costume competition, CJ paid tribute to the Philippines’ national leaf, the anahaw, donning a green and gold ensemble complete with a matching headdress designed by Patrick Isorena.
