Heart Evangelista has spoken out about rumors of a rift between her and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, clarifying that she never had any issues with the beauty queen.
During a press conference for her upcoming reality show “Heart World,” the Global Fashion Icon expressed her support for Pia, stating, “Woman to woman, I never had a problem with Pia.” Heart recalled how she had cheered for Pia in the past and appreciated when Pia once posted “#HeartMadeMeDoIt” on social media.
However, Heart acknowledged that the situation became complicated due to the people Pia chose to associate with, indirectly referring to Pia’s close work with Heart’s former glam team members, Jeck Aguilar and Justin Soriano.
As for her message to Pia, Heart offered her congratulations and wished her success, adding, “I wish you nothing but the best, and good luck.”
Despite the past misunderstandings, Heart emphasized that she has moved on and forgiven everyone involved, expressing her desire for peace and happiness for all. She urged for the situation to be left behind, saying, “It is what it is. And everybody should just be happy.”
The two celebrities recently made headlines for their respective appearances at Paris Fashion Week, where Heart topped Launchmetrics’ list of most impactful celebrities, with Pia ranking third.
